Context & Environment:

TotalEnergies is seeking enthusiastic young talents to join our 24-month rotational trainee program. As part of this program, trainees will gain exposure to various departments, particularly in Retail territory management, Electrical/Mechanical/Electromechanical, and Finance areas.

This role offers the opportunity to enhance performance throughout the probationary period and successfully progress in the training program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training & Development:

  • Complete specialized training modules to develop essential technical and professional skills.

  • Rotate through multiple departments to understand diverse roles and responsibilities.

• Learning & Mentorship:

  • Shadow experienced employees to gain insight into their job functions.

  • Participate in mentorship activities to foster professional growth.

• Project Engagement:

  • Gain exposure to various projects and collaborate with multiple departments to address challenges and implement effective solutions.

• Feedback & Improvement:

  • Constantly seek feedback from supervisors and mentors to enhance performance.

  • Contribute ideas during discussions aimed at problem-solving and innovation.

• HSEQ Commitment:

  • Manage and minimize Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) risks by ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Promote a safe working environment and actively contribute to HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and risk reduction strategies.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

• Matric plus a B/BTech degree in one of the following Engineering fields: Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or a Finance discipline. Alternatively, a Technician NQ5 qualification in Accounting is acceptable.

Skills:

• 0-5 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong academic performance with a solid understanding of the respective field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• A strong curiosity and willingness to learn.

• Effective problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
