Job Description
Salary: R214,787 – R245,471 per annum
Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a professional and customer-oriented Receptionist to act as a brand ambassador for the EWSETA. Your primary role will be to create a positive and memorable experience for anyone who interacts with our organization, whether they are customers, stakeholders, employees, or investors.
Key Responsibilities:
Visitor Management: Provide a warm welcome and professional service to all visiting stakeholders.
Reception Area Maintenance: Maintain an orderly and inviting reception area.
Delivery Management: Manage the reception of deliveries and ensure proper distribution.
Switchboard Management: Operate the switchboard efficiently, managing calls in a professional manner.
Query Management: Address stakeholder inquiries both telephonically and in person, following organizational protocols.
Reception Administration: Perform administrative duties related to Communications and Marketing.
Ad hoc Administration: Undertake additional tasks as required.
Effective Teamwork and Self-Management: Collaborate effectively within the team and demonstrate strong self-management skills.
Requirements of the Role:
Qualifications:
Minimum: Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF level 4).
Advantageous: Higher Certificate or equivalent (NQF level 5) in a relevant field.
Experience:
Minimum: 3 years’ experience in an enquiries/switchboard or reception role.
Advantageous: Experience within a SETA environment.
Training:
Minimum: Computer Literacy (MS Office package), Operating a Switchboard.
Professional Certification and Membership: Not applicable.
