Position Summary:
As a Shop Assistant / Cashier at Clicks, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, handling point of sale operations, and maintaining store merchandising standards. Your efforts will significantly contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently execute all point of sale operations in a timely manner.
Ensure accuracy in scanning merchandise and processing payments, including clubcard transactions.
Safeguard cash handling and promote Clicks’ clubcard to achieve participation targets.
Increase awareness of current promotions to enhance sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Uphold superior customer service standards by acting as a brand ambassador.
Maintain merchandising and housekeeping duties according to store standards.
Support the company’s vision to be the preferred health and beauty retailer by embodying and promoting company values.
Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and events to provide accurate customer information.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Knowledge:

Understanding of retail/FMCG operations, merchandising, and promotions.
