Requirements

Key Accountabilities
  • Safety First: Always wear appropriate safety gear and adhere to established safety protocols while driving or performing tasks.

  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct a thorough pre-trip examination using a standard checklist and promptly report any faults to the supervisor.

  • Timely Deliveries: Follow the scheduled routes and ensure that personnel, products, equipment, spare parts, documents, and samples are delivered on time to the appropriate recipient or destination.

  • Safety Precautions: Implement all safety measures to protect yourself and those around you.

  • Compliance Checks: Ensure that all necessary controls are in place according to the bow-tie framework, reporting any deficiencies or deviations to the transport supervisor and/or security control room immediately.

  • Supervision Notifications: Immediately inform the supervisor and/or security control room of any incidents.

  • Escorting Duties: Carry out escorting responsibilities during maintenance activities.

  • Regular Inspections: Participate in regular examinations and assessments as required.


Qualifications

Formal Education:  

  • Matric / N3 Certificate


Working Experience:  

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate efficiently.

  • Action Planning: Skillful in planning and executing tasks.

  • Complexity Control: Capable of managing complexity effectively.
