Job Description:
Position: Stock Controller
Location: Midrand, Gauteng
Job Type: Permanent
Closing Date: February 21, 2025
About the Role:
The Stock Controller will be responsible for the efficient management of inventory and ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse environment. You'll be essential in maintaining accurate records, processing stock receipts, and supporting the team. This role provides a good opportunity to work in a team setting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Process all picking slips and ensure accurate data entry.
Process and record stock receipts daily.
Maintain organized filing system for all paperwork.
Manage and track stock reduction effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse administration area.
Process all Goods Received Voucher (GRV) documents.
Perform stock takes during month-end and assist with ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
Education: Matric / Grade 12
Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
Skills:
Data Capturing proficiency.
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
SAP experience is an advantage.
Attributes:
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Fast learner with a proactive approach.
Effective time management and organizational abilities.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
