Summary:

Join the VKB Group family as a General Worker at our Barkly West location. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our operations and grow with the VKB Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general assistance to the facility, encompassing a variety of tasks to keep the facility in working order.

• Perform loading, bagging, and storage of products with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Operate tractors and other equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment through regular cleaning services.

• Perform ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Act as a GWK ambassador, promoting the company’s values, and collaborate effectively as a team player.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Grade 12 certificate

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role

• Willingness to work overtime when required

• Clear criminal record

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform the duties of the role.

• Communication skills

Opportunity Requirements

Education:  Grade 12 Certificate

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related role (e.g., warehouse, agricultural operations, or general labor).

Skills:

• Technical: Loading, bagging, storage, and basic equipment operation (e.g., tractors).

• Personal: Trustworthy, responsible, punctual, and physically fit.

• Interpersonal: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
