Requirements
Key Duties
As a Registry Clerk, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Providing efficient registry counter services and assisting clients with queries and handling incoming calls.
Receiving and registering hand-delivered mail/files, and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, which includes sorting, registering, and dispatching mail.
Maintaining an effective filing and record management system, including opening, closing, storing, and retrieving files based on an approved filing plan.
Operating and maintaining office machines such as scanners, binding equipment, and photocopiers.
Conducting regular file audits to ensure compliance with registry protocols and records management policies.
Processing documents for archiving and disposal in accordance with the National Archives and Records Service Act.
Keeping updated registry records, including logs for personal files, incoming and outgoing documents.
Assisting with travel and logistical arrangements for ICT staff as needed.
Important Notes

Key Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
Grade 12 certificate or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
Experience:
No prior experience required.
Skills:
Knowledge of registry duties and practices.
Ability to efficiently capture data.
Understanding of storage and retrieval procedures within a registry environment.
