Key Responsibilities

As a Security Guard at Ligpos, you will be responsible for:

• Property Protection: Safeguarding facilities to prevent unauthorized access, damage, or theft.

• Monitoring Premises: Conducting regular patrols to identify and report suspicious activities.

• Implementing Security Measures: Enforcing preventive protocols to reduce risks.

• Access Control: Inspecting personnel and verifying shipments for proper access.

Essential Requirements

To qualify for the Security Guard position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• PSIRA Registration: Must possess current PSIRA certification (applications without it will not be considered).

• Security Qualification: Entry-level positions require a Grade C security qualification; higher grades preferred for senior roles.

• Experience: Previous work experience is not mandatory for entry-level candidates but is advantageous for higher-ranking positions.

• Transport & Mobile Phone: Candidates may need to have their own transport and a mobile phone based on role requirements.

• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities to engage with clients and the public.

• Integrity & Reliability: High standards of trustworthiness and reliability.

• Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Additional Qualifications (Advantageous but Not Mandatory)

• Previous security experience or training.

• First aid and fire safety certifications.

• Leadership skills for supervisory roles.

• Computer proficiency, especially in reporting software.

• Valid driver’s license for mobile security tasks.

• Firearm competency license and relevant training.
