Job Description
Role Purpose:As the Supervisor for our Hammersdale project, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our client's premises. Your leadership will ensure that our teams perform to the highest standards while achieving operational goals.
Main Outputs:
Team Guidance: Provide clear directions and support to your direct reports, including cleaners and team leaders.
Goal Setting: Establish and communicate clear priorities and objectives for your team to ensure excellent service delivery.
Hands-on Support: Assist cleaners effectively while they carry out their daily responsibilities, maintaining high morale and productivity.
Material Control: Monitor and manage the usage of cleaning materials to optimize resources and minimize waste.
Operational Management: Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance, while resolving any operational challenges that arise.
Staffing Oversight: Ensure proper placement of staff, manage time and attendance, and address replacement needs as they come up.
Equipment Management: Oversee the condition and availability of site equipment to facilitate smooth operations.
Query Resolution: Address and escalate employee inquiries to the Contracts Manager and operations for further resolution.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
Education: Matric (Senior Certificate)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant cleaning services, with prior experience in a Team Leader capacity.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PRP.
