Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting opportunity for young, dynamic, and talented individuals to join their Commercial department as part of a Sales Learnership program. This learnership is designed to equip successful candidates with the skills necessary to grow volume, facilitate order taking, and implement merchandising standards for both direct and indirect customers within a designated geographical area. The program leads to a National Certificate: Marketing, NQF Level 4.

Requirements

Key Duties & Responsibilities

As a learner, you will be exposed to:

  • Commercial aspects of the Sales environment

  • Customer Care and Management

  • Marketing Essentials

  • Merchandising Standards

  • Management Essentials

  • Effective Communication


Key Attributes and Competencies Required

  • Good analytical and numerical ability

  • Socially outgoing and confident


  • Ability to build positive relationships

  • Team player who can work independently

  • Assertive and persuasive with the ability to influence and negotiate

  • Open to change and looking for opportunities for improvement

  • Good problem-solving ability, solutions-oriented, and innovative

  • Responsible, conscientious, and dependable

  • Self-disciplined and well-organized

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle demanding environments

  • High energy levels and drive


Skills, Experience & Education

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy passed with 40%

  • Two South African Languages passed with 40%

  • Diploma/Degree (advantageous)

  • Driver's Licence (advantageous)

  • Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership

  • Must be a South African Citizen, an Employment Equity candidate, and between 18-35 years old

  • Willingness to commit to a 12-month learnership program
