Job Description
Main Purpose: To undertake all aspects of financial management, including financial and management reporting as well as budget and forecasts preparation.
Key Performance Areas:
Controlling
Prepare and present Business Unit packs to Management.
Prepare and discuss annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for Business Units.
Liaise with Commercial Department to monitor profitability of individual projects and Business Units.
Monitor and analysing of results through review of Business Unit packs (Financial results, Debtors ageing, Hours, Capex).
Adhere to monthly reporting deadlines and ensure timeous closure of the monthly financial records.
Monitor cost centre results through monthly review and booking of corrections.
Conduct monthly cost centre and pre-business unit meetings with sites.
Monitor productive hours (Weekly and Monthly) and investigate any anomalies.
Provide ad-hoc support to Accounting, Commercial and Business Units.
Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of financial policies and procedures.
Preparation of any internal reporting tools required.
Prepare and distribute productive hours.
Other
Ensure effective document management system for department.
Ad-hoc finance related tasks.
Any other job related duties as required from time to time.

Preferred Requirements:
Com degree or equivalent with a major in Cost and Management Accounting.
5 Years' relevant experience.
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Knowledge of cost and management accounting.
Computer literate (MS Office and SAP).
