As a Creditors Clerk, you’ll be helping with cashbook capturing, supplier and balance sheet reconciliations. You’ll work closely with senior team members to ensure everything runs smoothly. If you’re good with numbers and want to be part of a dynamic team, this is right up your alley! 📊

What You Need: ✅

• Microsoft Office Skills: You need to be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience in Pastel Evolution or similar accounting software is a plus. 📊

• Education: Studying towards a relevant degree/diploma is advantageous, but not necessary. 📚

• Previous Experience: Previous experience in a finance/accounting role is a bonus. 💼

• Personal Attributes:

• Time Management: You need to be able to manage your time effectively and work under pressure. ⏰

• Problem-Solving: You need to be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently. 💡

• Communication: You need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team. 📞

What You’ll Be Doing: ✍🏾

• Capturing Invoices: You’ll capture valid Tax Invoices in Pastel before preparing payment requisitions. 📈

• VAT Numbers: You need to verify VAT numbers on e-filing for all new suppliers. 📊

• Payment Requisitions: You need to prepare all payment requisitions before their due dates. 📅

• Supplier Queries: You need to address supplier queries in a timely manner and maintain effective relationships. 📞

• Reconciliations: You need to reconcile Supplier Age Analysis to the general ledger balance monthly. 📚

• Financial Metrics: You need to prepare financial metrics and assist with intercompany transactions and loan account balances. 📊

• BBBEE Certificates: You need to request and verify BBBEE certificates from suppliers. 📊

• Records: You need to maintain appropriate records and assist with audits as necessary. 📁
