Job Description

Main Purpose of the Job:

The Food Service Assistant is responsible for performing various tasks associated with food production and front-of-house services while ensuring all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations are adhered to.

Education and Experience Required:

• Working experience: Required in the Hospitality Industry.

• Education: Matric is essential.

• Customer Service Experience: Preferred but not essential.

• Qualifications:

  • A qualification in Food and Beverage or Culinary Arts is an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

• Knowledge of basic food preparation.

• Strong communication skills.

• A commitment to personal appearance and hygiene.

• Passion for delivering world-class service to clients and customers.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Perform a variety of tasks associated with food production.

• Provide general support required in both front and back of house.
