Novelty Placements is currently seeking a reliable and honest General Worker for our client in the manufacturing industry, based in Cape Town. This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals looking to start a career in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute all lawful and reasonable instructions as directed, including various tasks that fall within your vocational ability.
Perform diligent and competent execution of tasks assigned, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Be responsible for any damage or loss caused to company or client property due to unauthorized use or negligence.
Engage in packing, sorting, lifting, and moving goods within the facility.
Conduct general cleaning and upkeep of the factory and surrounding areas.
Requirements
Character Traits: Honest, reliable, with sober habits, a good personality, and a strong work ethic.
Punctuality: Must be consistently on time.
Organizational Skills: Capable of maintaining order in tasks.
Communication Skills: Proficient in English, with good communication abilities.
Professional Etiquette: Maintain a high standard of professional behavior.
Team Player: Willingness to assist management and help out wherever necessary.
Identification: Must possess a valid South African ID, passport, or work permit.
Working Hours: 07h00 to 16h30, with overtime every 2nd Saturday.
Desired Experience & Qualification
A minimum of Matric Grade 12.
