Duties and Responsibilities:

• Exceed customer expectations through effective selling techniques.

• Adhere to stock loss controls in the store.

• Consistently meet individual sales targets.

• Identify opportunities to maximize and drive sales.

• Maintain housekeeping and uphold visual merchandising standards.

• Create an inspiring environment while having fun at work!

• Process all transactions, ensuring accuracy with payment methods (cash, cards, vouchers, etc.).

• Ensure all outgoing stock/items/scripts are scanned and paid for.

• Process loyalty cards for customers, including those of accelerated partners.

• Build professional relationships with customers and provide friendly, helpful service.

• Report customer compliments and complaints to management.

• Handle customer stock queries and resolve them promptly.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Essential:  

  • Matric or Equivalent

  • Up to 6 months of retail experience

• Special Conditions of Employment:  

  • Clear Credit and Criminal Record

  • Must be willing and able to work retail hours

  • South African citizen

• Advantageous:  

  • 1 year of retail work experience

  • Microsoft computer proficiency

  • Effective communication skills

  • Knowledge of current clothing trends/outdoor lifestyle (depending on brand)

  • Willingness to work flexible retail hours
