What the Job is About 💰

As a Salesperson at HiFi Corp, you'll play a crucial role in driving sales and delivering an exceptional shopping experience for customers. Here's a rundown of your responsibilities:

• Generate Sales: Perform sales activities to meet sales targets and boost revenue growth.

• Customer Engagement: Attract and retain customers using effective merchandising techniques and engage with them in a customer-centric manner.

• Cash and Credit Management: Manage cash and credit processes in accordance with company policies.

• Teamwork: Collaborate with the Sales Supervisor to achieve sales targets.

What You Need to Qualify 🔍

To land this role, you'll need:

• Numeracy and Literacy: A basic level equivalent to Grade 12.

• Retail Experience: 7 – 12 months of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a sales position.

• Skills:

  • Teamwork: Excellent collaboration skills.

  • Self-Motivation: Drive and self-motivation.

  • Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Initiative: High initiative and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with Sales Processes: Knowledge of sales and prospecting processes and methodologies.

  • Legislation: Understanding of relevant legislation (NCA, CPA, OHASA).

  • SAP and Operating Platforms: Familiarity with SAP and applicable operating platforms.

  • Retail Knowledge: Basic retail knowledge and extensive product knowledge within a specific category.

  • Personal Attributes: Courage & confidence, self-awareness, wisdom, emotional maturity, personal resilience, drive, and energy.
